Bobby Temple
Bobby Dean Temple III was inducted into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity’s Gamma Pi Lambda Chapter in November 2021.
Bobby is a 2002 graduated of Ball High School. He attended Lamar University, receiving his bachelors in Mathematics along with his teaching certification in 2007. He also attended the University of Houston – Clear Lake graduating in 2015 with a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration.
After graduating from Lamar, Bobby returned to Galveston and begin his teaching career at Ball High School. He served Galveston ISD teaching all levels of math, including serving teachers as an instructional coach and the math department chair until 2014. In October 2014, Bobby transitioned from the classroom to serving as an assistant principal and in 2018 becoming the Director of the Media and Innovation communities at Ball High School. Last school year, he was named administrator of the year at Ball High School. During the 2021-2022 school year, he became the principal of Collegiate Academy Middle School, a 5th – 8th grade campus in GISD.
Bobby is married to Kelly, his wife of 6 years. They share four children Skylee, Avani, Kennedy, and Bobby IV.
